What do you look for when planning a getaway to the snow? My little family and I usually visit the snow at least once a year and this year was no exception. I always like to make sure we are staying somewhere comfortable and close in proximity to restaurants/shopping centers. The Castle and Majestic Lake Views Cabin In Lake Arrowhead, Ca met and completely exceeded my expectations. It's not always easy to find a cabin rental that can comfortably fit a large group with kids and meet everyones standards but his one absolutely did. If you are looking for the perfect cabin rental in Lake Arrowhead, Ca for your next trip, Im happy to report, you have found it! Let me share with you all the details to this wonderful cabin full of views views and more views.
Views
This beautiful cabin has panoramic views from every room in the cabin! It was the first thing I noticed when I walked through the cabin. The large windows allow for amazing views of the lake and all the beautiful outdoors surrounding the cabin. It made me feel so close to nature while staying comfy and cozy inside. Let me share with you some of my favorite views down below.
Space
The cabin has 4 bedrooms, 8 beds and 3.5 baths. Three of the bedrooms are on the main floor as well as full bathroom and require no stairs to access them. The rooms include the following:
King Bedroom- Views of the lake, private restroom, fireplace
Queen Bedroom with Tub- Views of the lake, private restroom/Jetted tub with the most amazing views
Queen Bedroom- Views of the forest
The rooms were all spacious, private, clean, beautifully decorated and the beds allowed for a wonderful night sleep after a day full of fun. My husband and I stayed in the Queen bedroom with the Jetted tub and it was absolutely stunning. Soaking in the jetted tub felt amazing and those views definitely made it an experience.
On the upper level is where we found the 4th bedroom, full bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and deck. This 4th room was perfect for all the kiddos in our group. It does not have a door, as the upstairs is an open floor concept but it's tucked away enough to serve as a private room while still being able to keep an eye on the kiddos. It included bunk beds, a sofa and an 2 ottomans that each converted to a twin floor mattress. It slept all 5 of the kiddos in our group perfectly. The cabin came with lots of extra pillows, covers, and blankets to keep everyone warm, comfy and cozy. There was also a large wall mounted tv in the room which was perfect for some early morning cartoons.
Every room in the second floor was equally as spacious as the bedrooms were.
We actually all commented on how spacious the kitchen was and allowed for several cooks in the kitchen without a problem. It came with everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. The dining room table sat up to 6 with room for an additional 5 at the breakfast bar which allowed for all 3 families to enjoy meals together. The living room had a large gas fireplace that kept us all nice and toasty while we enjoyed some time chatting in their large and comfy sofa. Another amazing feature is their outdoor balcony. Both mornings I enjoyed a cup of coffee while admiring the views as the sun made its way out through the clouds. How I wish I had this view every morning.
Tip: Shoes are not to be worn inside the house so bring some thick comfy socks or house slippers
As I have mentioned on previous posts, cleanliness is a top priority now more than ever. Whether my family and I are staying at an Airbnb or hotel this can definitely make or break our stay. Im happy to report all 2870 sq ft of the entire cabin was immaculate and everything was in great working conditions.
Location
The cabin is Just a 9 minute drive from Lake Arrowhead Village which has tons of great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed dining at 2 different locations and visited a few shops during our visit. We had a delicious brunch at Belgian Waffle Works. Their waffles were soft, so tasty, and the restaurant sits right in front of the lake. On the following day we enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Lakefront Tap Room and Kitchen. The food was equally delicious, their specialty drinks were amazing and the service was spectacular. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. After lunch we walked around the lake and stopped at some shops for fun souvenirs for the kiddos and even got to visit with Santa! Another great place to visit just a few minutes from the cabin is SkyPark at Santas Village. My family and I did not get to visit during this particular visit to Lake Arrowhead but was such a great experience and wish we would have had time to visit again.
