Episode 9 "As Time Goes By" Recap
This episode aired February 26th
Griffin's mom sees a sign on the mirror that says stay and it freaks her out. The twins come in and see she is very frightened and to top it off the lights start flickering and she runs downstairs with the twins.
Sarah, Griffins mom Calls Ben freaked out about what just happened and says she wants to leave the house.
Griffin and Harper realize the hatch is stuck and they need to go back home. Before going home she sees Jess in the past talking to who seems to be her dad when they were kids.
Griffin and Harper are finally found and they make up the excuse that they were trying to run away because they were trying to keep them apart.
Back home Griffin hears his parents arguing about going back to Chicago and about all the secrets his dad has been keeping.
The next day at school Harper arrives early to research the 1960 storm and sees a picture of Savannah in some files in a 1962 picture...so she did make it out of the storm after all.
Harper calls Griffin to tell him about the picture he found of Savannah and Griffin breaks the news that they are moving back to Chicago.
After Griffin's parents argue, his dad Ben leaves the house. His mom later found him by the old tree house and tells his wife what happened the night Savannah went missing. He tells her how that night he realized Savannah wasn't in the tree house and went to the basement where he found her. They stayed awake telling jokes until they heard a weird noise which is when he ran away thinking Savannah had followed but she had not. The next morning is everyone noticed she had went missing and is why he felt responsible for her disappearance.
Griffin takes Harper into the room in his house where the singing came from when they suddenly hear a noise coming from a radio. All of a sudden the dials on the radio similar to one in the bunker start moving on their own giving them some sort of code or combination. They go to the similar radio in the bunker and enter the code which makes the radio make another noise. They think it's Savannah tying to tell them to find her.

Weekly Treats
This week we received some beautiful mugs perfect to sit around a fire or our Tv with some hot cocoa bomb. They were perfect to enjoy our weekly screening and will be enjoying another cup this Friday to rewatch the new episode.
After our screening we were able to have an interview with Josh Braaten and Kelly Frye who play Griffins parents, Ben and Sarah. What an awesome treat! We all got to ask them questions and had a great time talking to them. Here's a little clip our friends over at OC Boys Life recorded and were kind enough to share with us.
Thank you Disney Channel PR , Kristin Cruz and Disney Plus, for this weeks amazing treats and another exciting episode screening!
Series Synopsis
Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.
