Episode 7 "Long Time Gone" Recap
This episode aired February 12th
The episode starts with the twins sneaking into the living room and seeing Harper and Griffin getting scolded by their parents after sneaking out. Harper and Griffin tell their parents they wanted to be alone to have their first kiss as a cover up to where they really were.
Harper is outside her moms shop and they start talking about her and Griffins "big" romance. Her moms mentions how it's not good to keep secrets and Harper tells her how she expects her to be honest when she isn't. Her moms confesses she did go to camp with Ben and that she was in the camp the night savannah went missing. She says she never talked about it because it was just too hard to talk about.
Griffin text Harper and they sneak off into the past.
Harpers mom notices she's gone and goes to Griffins house to look for her. They all realize that Griffin and Harper are gone and they think they have ran away together.
Back in the past Harper and Griffin find Ben and ask him what happened to Savannah after the camp fire. He says he doesn't know and runs off. At the camp everyone is looking for Savannah and she is nowhere to be found.
The camp leaders is talking to a sheriff who is questioning the campers about Savannah and she mentions she was busy looking for 2 other kids (Harper and Griffin). Suddenly she sees them hiding behind the tree and points them out to him. The sheriff catches them and tells them he needs their parents names. While in the car the sheriff gets a call that they have found something in the lake. Luckily it's not Savannah and the search continues. Ben looks very worried/jumpy and anytime he is asked anything seems to run off.
In present time Harper and Griffin's parent are very worried and start talking. Harpers mom questions Griffins dad and asks if he knows what happened to Savannah 30 years ago and he simply tells her she should go home.
In the past Ben goes down to the basement to look for Savannah and Jess finds him there. She questions him why he thinks she would be there. Ben then blames Jess for daring Savannah to go to the basement the night before and Jess storms off crying.
Griffin and Harper are locked in the sheriffs car and they overhear Ben talking to his dad. Ben tells him "It's my fault, its all my fault". His dad then says "not another word" and takes him away. Did Ben actually have something to do with the disappearance after what appeared to be a confession? Watch episode 8 February 19th to find out!

Series Synopsis
Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.
