Episode 8 "If I Could Turn Back Time" Recap
This episode aired February 19th
Harper and Griffin are still stuck in the back of the sheriffs car in the past and are unable to get anyones attention to let them out.
Back in the present time the twins hear music coming from the backroom and break the wall to go in there and find out. The record is playing but the record player is not even plugged in!
In the past, Harper and Griffin end up getting out of the sheriffs car by tricking the sheriff to let them go to the bathroom.
Back in present time, the twins attempt to convince their parents about the music they heard and savannah's ghost. Their mom gets upset and pays no attention, but they seem to get their dads attention.
Harper's mom goes through her things since they have yet to find them and finds a note from Tremont in her journal.
In the past, once out the sheriff's car Harper and Griffin head out to talk to Jess. Jess mentions Ben was a jerk and is upset Ben blamed her for Savannah's disappearance since she dared her to go to the basement. Jess is upset and tells them to leave.
Griffin and Harper come to the conclusion Savannah might have found the bunker and is traveling in time just like they have been! Did Savannah find out about the portal on her own or does Ben know about it too? They are tying to figure it all out.
Back in present time, Griffin's dad goes into the room where the twins heard the music and says "come on Savannah, what are you trying to tell me". All of a sudden his wife comes in and he takes her to the old site where camp Tremont was at and confesses he knew Savannah and Jess! His wife is very upset at this new revelation.
Griffin and Harper go through the portal and think they are in present time but are now in 1960. They now have traveled 60 years back in time and have arrived during a storm. They see someone walking in the hotel and go in to find Savannah. Savannah seems to think its a prank from Ben and they try to explain she went through a portal but she does not believe them.
In present time Griffin's mom is talking on the phone mentioning how she wants to move back to Chicago when all of a sudden the call gets interrupted and in the mirror she sees some writing saying STAY!
Griffin, Harper, and Savannah run through the storm to the portal. Savannah is right behind them when she trips and a big tree falls right on top of the portal entrance. She is stuck in 1960 and Griffin and Harper have no way of bringing her back through the portal with them!! The Hatch is stuck!! Now what?!?

Weekly Treats
This week we got double the treats and surprises! We received A delicious pizza kit from Jon & Vinny's. It was so much fun making it and of course we all devoured the results. It was extra special because this was our first time making pizza at home and what can possibly go better with our favorite Disney show then pizza! We also got spoiled with ready to bake cooking from Jon & Vinny's.
But wait, theres more! On top on all this fun and deliciousness, we received this amazing package from Disney Plus announcing #secretsofsulphursprings debut on February 26th. Series Synopsis
Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.
