Episode 10 "No Time Like The Present" Recap
Premiered Friday March 5
Harper and Griffin arrive to 1962 and Savannah runs into them. She tells Griffin and Savannah that when she arrived to 1962 she was adopted by an awesome family...she finally has a family. Griffin and Harper admit to Savannah they are from the future and tells Savannah that her friend Ben is his dad. Harper admits her mom is Jessica. They tell her that this whole time their parents have been feeling guilty about her disappearance and has been causing problems even after 30 years. They ask her to come back to the present time but she refuses. She's scared that if she goes through the hatch she might loose her new life and parents. She apologizes and starts walking about but then she has an idea!
The twins notice that the cold spots in the hotel are missing and they don't understand why "Savannah" has disappeared.
Harper comes into Griffin's home to tell his dad that Griffin has been hurt by the tree house. When he arrives he sees a red tin can with a letter in it. It's from Savannah where she tells him why she disappeared. Great plan Savannah, Griffin, and Harper! They brought closure and Savannah didn't have to risk her new family. Harper's mom is there to listen to the letter too and they are both in disbelieve but so happy.
Harper and her mom go back to the bakery and talk about the note. Harper mentions how one bad moment can change anything and ask her mom if she ever thinks about what would have happened if her dad had not gotten into the car accidents. She asks her mom "wouldn't it be amazing if we can change that?"...
Griffin suggest they do something with the radio so no one else is able to use it to time travel. Harper agrees but says they should sleep on it.
Griffin's parents decided to stay in the house and not move to Chicago! Everyone is so happy about that decision.
Harper is up early in the morning and gets caught by her mom. Where is she going? Harper heads to the basement and is using the radio. She is going to time travel but where is she going?
At the hotel the kids are so happy to be staying and run downstair when all of a sudden a rocking chair starts moving on its own but nobody notices it.
Harper appears in another time and stops a yellow car with a man inside it? Why is she stopping this car and who is he? Any ideas?

Weekly Treats
This weeks surprise was epic! In one of the first episodes us parents got some awesome blast from the past moments we were all so excited about. Well this week we got a Caboodle and it brought back so many fun memories. It was so thoughtful of Disney to gift us this since they knew how excited we were about this blast from the past. We also received a wireless speaker that looks like an old radio that we saw on the show. The Caboodle was in my possession long enough for a picture because my 9 year old immediately took ownership of it. I couldn't say no! I remember how much I loved mine. She put all her lipglosses, nail polish and hair clips inside of it.
Thank you Disney Channel PR and Kristin Cruz for this seasons amazing treats, episodes and interviews. This was one of the best experiences we've had. You guys are really the dream team.
Series Synopsis
Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.
