This year for Halloween we decided to decorate inside the house and we went with a skull/Day of the dead/pumpkin theme. I wanted to keep it subtle, fun, but also didn't want to spend too much money so I headed to the Dollar Tree to put some things together. I'll list exactly what I did down below.
To put together the day of the dead skull you need:
Plain plastic skull
Fake flowers color combo of your choice
Small Knife or anything that can puncture through the plastic skull
All I did was poke some holes into the skull all across the head, cut and shortened the stem on the flowers and just put them in the holes...TADA!
To make the sign all you need is:
Frame of choice
White paper
Black cardstock paper
Scissors
Glue
I went ahead and printed this on while paper, cut it out in this shape but you can cut it in whatever shape you'd like and then I simply glued it to black stock paper and DONE! I also bought the frame at the Dollar Tree store.

I found these cute cups to match the theme that I plan to use on Halloween with the family. Fill them up with sangria, red wine, or even apple juice with fake eyeballs for a fun spooky drink for the kiddos. Also found the fake eyeballs at the dollar store.
The plates down below will be perfect for some jack-o-lantern shaped quesadillas, spooky hotdogs or some fun cookies. The skeleton hands can be placed reaching into the plates for some fun at the food table decorations.
