If you have ever had the opportunity to visit South Coast Botanical Garden you already know it's beautiful year round with their lush gardens, art installations, and thousands of different plants. GLOW their brand new visually stunning light exhibit with an ocean water theme is sure to leave you breathless. Imagine walking through a beautiful garden full of thousands of glowing lights designed by California Outdoor Lighting while listening to music of various genres. It's definitely an unforgettable after dark walk through the garden. Better yet, no need to imagine! Let me share with you some of the beautiful pictures we captured during our visit and give you some tips before you visit South Coast Botanical Garden's GLOW installation. You too can have the opportunity to see the garden in a whole other light.
The whole walk through the garden took us about 1 1/2 hours. We did make some stops for pictures as well as took a quick break to sit on a bench to admire the lights and listen to the music. It is a one way path and at certain points there are staff members guiding you to make sure you stay on path. It feels like a magical experience walking through nature at night with all the beautiful lights.
Reserve Your Tickets
GLOW is open to the public every day from November 21,2020 through January 10, 2021. They will not be open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Things To Know Before You Visit
There is a lot of walking involved so bring comfortable shoes
Appropriate for all ages
Everyone over the age of 2 years old MUST wear a mask at all times
Event is rain or shine to plan accordingly
Parking is free at the garden
No food or beverages available for purchase but you can bring your own outside drinks and snacks
Picnics are not allowed during GLOW installation
