During the week we had a lovely time walking the farm at Live Oak Canyon During their Christmas Tree season. We had attended their pumpkin patch and were excited to pay them a visit during our favorite time of the year, Christmas time! Im excited to share with you everything we had the opportunity to do as well as show you a video preview of our beautiful night down below.
We went later in the evening on a Tuesday night and we were pleasantly surprised to see no crowds or lines to get in. Don't know if it was because it was a Tuesday, later in the day or because it's early in the season, but we didn't question it and headed in for a great time. To our surprise there was no entrance fee, ADMISSION IS COMPLETELY FREE!
As soon as we walked in we immediately headed to enjoy all the beautiful lights. They have several beautiful light houses and some awesome light tunnels Alexia was able to run through. It was all so beautiful to see. You can really appreciate the lights in the video link down below. After walking around and enjoying all the lights we decided to take a train ride to visit Santa. It was a wonderful ride around the farm and we were able to wave to Santa from the train. You can see more of the train ride in the video below. The train ride did require tickets and you can purchase a ticket card at the gift shop by the entrance. They also have a handful of attractions for the kiddos that require tickets and vary by attraction.
We then headed to the zoo because if you know my kiddos she loves animals, so we could not pass this up. We got to visit and feed the goats and see all the other animals like chickens, pigs, horses, bunnies and more!
Every night they play outdoor classic Christmas movies so we decided to finish our night sitting around their bonfires making s'mores and watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. S'mores kits can be purchased at the gift shop and are only $5.00. They also had food vendors like pizza, tacos, all kinds of snacks and even funnel cakes.
Before leaving we decided to stop to look at their fresh trees right by the entrance. They had lots of sizes but we all fell in love with this miniature tree. It's our first real Christmas tree and as you can see Alexia was so excited. It smells wonderful and it was ONLY $25.00. Perfect little personal tree for the kiddos!
Unlike the pumpkin patch only half of the farm is open for their tree season so we were able to enjoy everything at the farm in about 2 hours. It was definitely a very enjoyable evening and we all highly recommend it. Our favorite part was being able to walk around and enjoy all the lights at our own pace. If you wanted to visit and only enjoy the lights, photo ops, roast marshmallows, and watch a movie you could do all this for only $5.00 a person! Amazing deal if you ask me.
Here is a little video preview of our nights!
